After that, the aged solution is treated with carbon disulfide to form cellulose xanthate (viscose).
This viscose solution is then extruded into an acid bath where it regenerates into a thin cellulose film.
Afterward, the film undergoes washing, bleaching, and softening steps, including the addition of glycerin to enhance durability and flexibility.
